In this course, we will delve into the world of drawing. It’s all about shapes, shading, and tapping into the right side of our brain. We aim to introduce innovative concepts that enhance your ability to ‘see’ more clearly. The idea is to get the verbal side of the brain to shut up, and to use the visual side of the brain to explore—the side that is almost always asleep, unless you unleash it. It is easy to get into the right side of the brain, i.e., the visual side, by shutting out distractions such as mobile phones and digital devices. Your brain can switch from one side to another. I will show you how to do that so you can improve your drawing skills. Anyone can draw with the right instructions and, most importantly: practice. ????
Yes, sorry to mention this, but drawing and working with the visual side of your brain requires practice, just like playing football or ice hockey. You have to practice if you want to get good at something. It doesn’t really have to do with talent. All it is: practice, the joy of creating and experimenting, keeping at it and not losing the most important part—the fun of it. Fun and joy are essential for creating.
Through a series of engaging exercises and hands-on activities, you will learn to observe the world with a fresh perspective, confidently and creatively capturing the essence of your subjects.
Whether you are just starting out or seeking to refine your skills, this course provides a nurturing environment for experimentation and growth.
Embrace the joy of drawing as a form of self-expression, and unlock the potential of your artistic journey.
