Create Your Own Book! Discover the art of zines and fanzines, DIY (do-it-yourself) micro-publishing, and bookbinding techniques. Zines are small, self-published booklets rooted in DIY culture.

Are you passionate about a subject and eager to share it? Would you like to document your everyday life from a new perspective, tell a personal or family story, or explore an idea close to your heart, real or invented? They follow no fixed rules and offer total creative freedom. Throughout the sessions, you will experiment with a wide range of techniques: writing, photography, drawing, collage, image transfer, linocut printing, mapping, and more. Particular attention will be paid to the relationship between content and form, helping you choose the most appropriate graphic techniques for your project. You will also learn simple folding and binding methods that make it possible to create books using accessible materials and tools. At the end of the course, we will print 20 copies of your zine for you to distribute, giving you the opportunity to send your first independent publication out into the world.
