This 4-week intensive explores the bridge between traditional portraiture and the dynamic world of manga and graphic novels. Students will learn the essential "architecture" of the face, focusing on proportions and structural drawing, before moving into stylized inking techniques. We will focus on line weight, high-contrast values, and creating characters with a strong narrative presence.
Mixed (Beginner to Intermediate). The course is designed to be accessible for beginners while offering advanced inking challenges for more experienced students.
