Die Kunst des skulpturalen Ausdrucks. Tauchen Sie ein in die Welt der Skulptur und lernen Sie die Kunst des Porträts in Ton! In einem zweiwöchigen Kurs mit zwei lebenden Modellen lernen Sie durch praktische Übungen, wie man Volumen, Raum und den Charakter des Gesichts in einer Skulptur darstellt. Sie lernen, Proportionen und Details des Gesichts zu gestalten. Persönlichkeit und Ausdruckskraft durch Skulptur zu übertragen. Sie entfalten Ihren eigenen künstlerischen Ausdruck im dreidimensionalen Arbeiten. 

Der Kurs ist für alle Erfahrungsstufen. Materialien und ein entspanntes Umfeld fördern Ihre Kreativität und Experimentierfreude. Werden Sie kreativ und lassen Sie die Kunst des Modellierens in Ton lebendig werden! Das Porträt wird nach Fertigstellung im Keramikofen gebrannt. 


Ceramics - From clay to painting

In this course, students will learn manual techniques for making ceramic objects from daily life, such as bowls, plates, cups and mugs. Intermediate students will be able to improve their techniques and explore new possibilities. 

The second part of the course involves learning different ceramic painting techniques, such as Nerikomi and ceramic’s paint, finishing with a transparent glaze.

Cyanotype - Shadows of blue and light

We will talk about and practice different types of perspectives, starting from very simple, to progressively more complex setups. The key to mastering this tool is to understand it and once you do, you will unlock enormous potential to learn and work your imagination while having lots of fun!

“I found I could say things with colour and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way - things I had no words for” - Georgia O’Keeffe. 

The course is intended for all plant and nature lovers who want to try semi-abstract painting. It is suitable both for beginners and for those with prior experience in painting. 

In this course, participants will create on canvas their unique interpretation of the plant world by experimenting and improvising with composition, playing with colours, enlarging or fragmenting plant motifs, letting their imagination and spontaneity manifest. 

Participants can bring a few printed photos of plants, flowers, leaves, trees, close-up fragments of plants, whether taken by themselves or found on the Internet or elsewhere. 

Designing, writing and illustrating a children’s book

A participative course. Profiting from a temporary class room library of over 100 children’s books, we will look: at Visual and thematic research, story board and character modelling, Writing, typography and phonetics with tips on how to submit to editors. It will also involve individual tuition of participants who have started to construct or are actually working on a children’s book project.
