This course introduces oil pastels through the creation of expressive portraits. Participants will learn fundamental techniques such as layering, blending, and color mixing, with special attention given to facial proportions, skin tones, and the use of light and shadow. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will develop confidence in building depth, texture, and expression in their artwork.
Aucun prérequis pour ce cours
Oil pastels with at least 24 colors to allow proper color mixing and layering.
Heavyweight drawing paper or oil pastel paper (preferably 160–300 gsm) is required to support multiple layers without tearing.
Optional materials include fixative spray.
