Introduction:
Introduction to various tools and materials. Drawing and designing the concept for the sculpture. Basic knowledge of how to use comparative animal anatomy to create a new creature, along with instruction in fundamental forms that will give the sculpture its structure.
Design Development:
Students will work on their individual ideas by selecting references, sketching, or modeling directly. Through each project, I will teach how to use different techniques to shape their characters.
Refinement & Continuation:
This session focuses on continuing the development of the project. Students will refine details, clean and polish their sculpture, and prepare the surface for painting.
Final Touches:
Lead-up to the hard-paint process and final adjustments.
