Détail du cours/stage

Langues: English

“I found I could say things with colour and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for” - Georgia O'Keeffe.

The course is intended for all plant and nature lovers who want to try semi-abstract painting. It is suitable both for beginners and for those with prior experience in painting.

In this course, participants will create on canvas their unique interpretation of the plant world by experimenting and improvising with composition, playing with colours, enlarging or fragmenting plant motifs, letting their imagination and spontaneity manifest.

The course teacher will come up with different exercises and tasks for creating sketches, based on which an acrylic painting will be created. By creating sketches and preparatory drawings, the participants will learn the basics of composition, different acrylic painting techniques, experiment with textures and backgrounds.

Participants will reveal their creativity and spontaneity, expressing their emotions on canvas.

Participants can bring a few printed photos of plants, flowers, leaves, trees, close-up fragments of plants, whether taken by themselves or found on the Internet or elsewhere.
