A moment just for you: move the body & calm the mind with hatha yoga by Zoé Galassi
In a world that is going faster each day, with multiple tasks to get done, yoga is a great way to deal with our busy lives, by offering a moment just for you. A moment just for your body, mind and breath.
At the same time, yoga is also a tool to expand our body awareness, to notice where we have tension in the body and to learn how to release it.
Hatha Yoga is the umbrella term for every kind of yoga that contains physical exercises, i.e.: the yoga poses.
Over the course of two weeks, we will be exploring different variations of hatha yoga; from more gentle, restorative yoga to the more dynamic vinyasa yoga styles. At the same time, we will get to know the essence of yoga - prana - the vital energy of the breath.
By introducing simple yet effective breathing techniques, we will learn how to control and channel the energy of our breath.
