How to compose an image? How to make a fantastical world believable? How to tell a story with light and shadow? These questions are really important for illustrators, artists and designers, who want to use visuals to tell a story. During this short workshop we will explore and experiment with different answers to these questions, while trying to put live and believability into our creation. The course will focus on pencil rendering techniques, composition, elements of perspective and anatomy, as well as shading and design. The final result of our work will be a single illustration in A3 format.
Skill level: Moderate (not for beginners)
